Euro pallets have a fixed dimension of 1200 x 800 mm. The Euronorm size is derived from internal truck and train dimension. With the 1200 x 800 mm being the most optimal solution to fill a truck and train completely. On the European mainland, Euro pallets are the standard pallet.

Thanks to their compatible format, other Euronorm products like Euro storage boxes can be stacked on Euro pallets, allowing for space-saving storage of goods. For example, two boxes in the 800 x 600 mm size or four Euro boxes measuring 600 x 400 mm can be placed side by side on a Euro pallet. Euro boxes of different sizes can also be stacked securely. Euro Pallets: plastic or wood?

Whether to choose plastic or wooden Euro pallets depends on the application. If hygiene, color, tare weight, stability, or chemical resistance are critical factors, plastic pallets are the ideal choice. Plastic Euro pallets are frost-resistant, weatherproof, and easy to clean. Wooden pallets absorb moisture and can develop mold, a problem that doesn’t affect plastic Euro pallets. Additionally, plastic does not splinter.
