Description
The SB3 box in general
Light grey plastic pallet box type SB3 (1200 x 1000 x H790 mm) in a rim-stackable design (Euro stacking system), with a grey lid and fitted with tension straps. This impact-resistant plastic pallet box on three sledes is fitted with a matching lid and locked by means of four tension straps. The SB3 box is produced in one piece using the injection moulding process and is therefore particularly robust. The lower wall panels are additionally reinforced with a heavy ribbed structure. This serves as a buffer against impact damage caused by forklift collisions.
UN approval
These product features make the SB3 box an ideal pallet box for hazardous materials. The SB3 has UN approval for highly hazardous substances (code X) and is approved for the transport and storage of solid hazardous substances from packaging groups I, II and III, including batteries and lithium batteries (not critically defective). The box complies with the regulations laid down in ADR for road transport, as well as the requirements for the transport of hazardous substances by rail (RIO), by sea (IMDG Code) and by air (IATA-DGR).
