Practical stacking crate in Euronorm format (600 x 400 x H 250 mm). Finished in grey and part of our widely used BASIC LINE.

The stacking crate features generous perforations in both the walls and the base. This ensures optimal ventilation, allowing the contents to ‘breathe’ and any condensation to drain away quickly. As the stability of the crate is also important, the walls have been reinforced at strategic points and the wall perforations are arranged in a smart and proven grid pattern. Special attention has also been given to base reinforcement. The open base is reinforced on the underside with a very robust grid, with perforations designed as T-profiles. This strong construction results in a particularly robust crate with a high load capacity, while remaining relatively lightweight and easy to handle.

Thanks to its standardised dimensions (600 x 400 mm), the stacking crate can be stacked with all other Euronorm stacking crates and is perfectly compatible with standardised pallets, mobile plastic trolleys and roll containers. This makes logistics particularly efficient and helps prevent unnecessary loss of space.

Application

Thanks to the generous perforations, the stacking crate is widely used for fresh produce, as well as bakery products and other foodstuffs. These products need to ‘breathe’ to help prevent mould formation. Our BASIC LINE is an excellent choice for these applications.

BASIC LINE crates are also widely used as glass crates or crockery crates. Glasses, cups and saucers coming out of a dishwasher release a considerable amount of condensation, which needs to be removed quickly. Thanks to the generous perforations and robust base, our BASIC LINE also performs very well in this application.

Another advantage of the generous perforations is the high visibility of the contents. Products inside the crate can therefore be identified easily. This also makes our BASIC LINE crates highly suitable for warehouse applications.
