The stacking system of CB pallet boxes
The CB3 plastic pallet box (1200 x 1000 x H 740 mm) is a particularly robust box that stacks with raised lugs on all four corners of the box. This stacking system is widely used in the food sector and recycling. Pool organisations also work with this type. The CB3 is therefore highly suitable for these applications - not only because of its stacking system, but also because of its particularly impact-resistant design.

The construction
CB pallet boxes are produced in a monobloc design, meaning they are injection-moulded in one piece. The pallet skids and the box therefore form a single unit. So there are no clipped-on pallet skids, but pallet skids that are moulded in the same cycle and with the same material quality as the box. This makes CB pallet boxes highly suitable for intensive use and, for example, for emptying with a forklift truck fitted with a rotating device.

Impact resistance
The impact resistance of the CB pallet box is primarily ensured by the above-average wall thickness of the box. This is almost twice as thick as comparable pallet boxes. This is particularly important at the corner columns and centre posts. In addition, the pallet box’s impact protection zones play a decisive role. Around the pallet box, buffer zones with ribs are positioned above the fork openings. These impact zones help prevent collision damage from forklift trucks and make an important contribution to the pallet box’s impact resistance.

Tracking & tracing
Electronic tracking of pallet boxes and loads is becoming increasingly important in modern logistics. For this purpose, CB pallet boxes are fitted with holders for RFID transponders in the upper rim. Because they are visibly positioned, QR codes or barcodes can also be applied to the transponder - as printing. In that case, the QR codes and barcodes are read visually one by one, while the transponder chips are read electronically in bulk.

Cleaning and hygiene
CB pallet boxes have a completely smooth and flat design. This allows emptying and cleaning to be carried out quickly and effectively. As a result, optimal hygiene can also be guaranteed.
